Bob passed away suddenly on December 4, 2005 at Langley, B.C. He is survived by Patricia, his loving wife of 43 years. He is also survived by his son William James Murphy (Tia); 4 granddaughters: Toni, Diamond, Bo and Micah; his brother William John Murphy and sister-in-law Fay Murphy; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carole & Chuck Schulties; brother-in-law David Newman; nieces Rosalyn Rodgers (Marty) and Cathy Dixon (Barry), nephews John Murphy and Jim Hunchuk (Sandi);cousin Mary Baird (Jack); as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. According to Bob's wishes, cremation will take place, with no service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation.
