With great sadness we announce the passing of Rudie, he passed away in the Langley Hospital were he spent his last 6 months with dementia. Survived by his loving wife Annie , married for 59 years , daughter Ingrid, son Johnny, grandchildren, Ilona (Raymond, ) Rocco, Melvin and Michelle and great-granddaughter Femke. Rudie was born in Enchede the Nederlands and Immigrated with his wife Annie and daughter Ingrid to Canada in 1981. Rudie's greatest passion was his racing pigeons , when he came to Canada he brought with him 42 of his most famous and valuable birds. He was an avid player and a proud sportsman, he played in the Surrey Racing , Fraser Valley Pigeon Club and the North Road Club. A special thanks for all the nurses at the Langley hospital staff who looked after Rudy. There will be no service at Rudie's request. In lieu of flowers, a donation to charity of your choice, or the Alzheimer's association.
