In loving memory ~
1953 - 2024
Born in Montreal, to Roger and Louise Brown, Ron made his way west to Vancouver in his late teens to play music. He quickly settled into family life and what became a long career at Canada Post: starting as a letter carrier in 1974 and retiring as Langley's superintendent in 2010. Many will remember his respectful, caring leadership there.
Ron & Wendy Brown raised 4 daughters on acreage in Brookswood. He also volunteered as a counselor at Langley Community Services Society for many years. In retirement, he and Linda Brown, his second wife, moved to Nanaimo where they built their dream home. They enjoyed many happy years there surrounded by family and nature, with lots of travel adventures.
Ron lived life with joy, exuberance, and a determination to see the best in everyone. He is survived by his brother, sister, wives, 4 daughters, 2 step-daughters, 9 grandchildren and 4 great step-grandchildren.
He is dearly loved and missed.
