CARTER. After a courageous battle with ALS, RONALD DAVID passed away peacefully on May 15 at Langley Memorial Hospital.
Ron was born in Portsmouth, England, February 3, 1931 and came to Canada in 1967, where he continured his profession as a mechnical engineer.
He will always be loved and missed by his caring wife Pat, son Kevin (Wendy), daughter Cheryl and his three grandsons, Nickolaus, Bradley and Cameron, sister Ruth (John), sisters-in-law Margaret (Ern), Marion (Ron), brothers-in-law David (Anne), Gareth (Jan), Hedley (Lucy), nieces and nephews and many very special friends.
Our special thanks to Dr. Cilliers and the nurses and staff at Langley Memorial for their kidness and help. No flowers by request. Donations to the ALS Society (119 - 1600 W. 16th Ave., Vancouver, B.C. V6J 1R3) or charity of choice would be very much appreciated by the family. Visitation occurred at Henderson's Funeral Home, Langley on Tuesday, May 20th. A reception for relatives and friends will be held at the Clubhouse, Bridle Run, 5708 208th St., Langley starting at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 25th.
