Ronald Thomas Guss
July 26, 1942 - November 19, 2009
Ron's passion for travel, cars and music, and his appreciation for the beauty of nature filled his life with pleasure. He derived great joy from the company of people from all walks of life. A talented musician, entertainer and piano teacher, his spontaneous sense of humor was enjoyed by audiences throughout his career. During his years in Winnipeg, he was a valued sales associate at Croft Music and The Bay music department and owned Grescoe's Music School in the 1960"s. On moving to Vancouver in the 1970's he continued to focus on his teaching career, as well writing and arranging music.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Gladys Guss and sister Lucy Gotch of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is survived by Gloria Jenks, partner of ten years, his sons Ron Jr. and Darren Guss and siblings Ken, Eleanor, Lillian and Nancy as well as 14 loving nieces and nephews.
