SHAW: Ronald Charles, June 30, 1942 - October 8, 2004.
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ron, with his family by his side, October 8, 2004 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Darlene, children Charlene (Scott), Jamie and Jesse (Kirsten). Grandpa Shaw will be fondly remembered by grandchildren, Riley, Brooklyn, Tyler, Kali and Ethan, mother-in-law Sis Cuff and his faithful dog Pokey. Ron is also leaving behind brother Robert (Pat) Shaw, Margaret (Don) Towers, brother-in-law Steve (Elaine) Cuff, nieces and nephews Michael (Sherry) Shaw, Carri (Mike) Alcos, Ryan (Tosca) Cuff, Brent (Leighla) Cuff and all his relatives and friends.
Ron dedicated 37 years of his life working for Zephyr Ford Inc. and the last 7 years with Dams. He loved his job and everyone he worked with, making lifelong friends along the way.
His favorite past time was spending every possible moment at the farm caring for his animals, haying the fields and cooking hotdogs for his grandchildren.
If there is a field in heaven, dad will be haying it!
A celebration of Ron's Life will be held Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Langley United Church, 5673 200th St., Langley.
We will all miss you dad.
