KORSTROM, Shirley Irene aged 76 years, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2008 at Langley Hospice. .
She had a tremendous desire to live her life to the fullest. After her diagnosis, she never complained, fighting her illness with phenomenal strength and positive attitude. Her strong spirit
allowed her to survive another two years. Survived by her sisters, Lucille and Elaine, and brothers Gerald and Bruce and also her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley, B.C. at 11:00 am on May 12, 2008. The care she received during her time at the hospice was more than the family had ever expected. We would like to thank the staff, doctors and volunteers at the hospice for the dedication and care our Shirley received. They assisted with her every need which allowed her to die with dignity.
