It is with tremendous sadness that I let you know that Sig passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022. After suffering for over two years from metastatic prostate cancer, Sig chose to end his unendurable pain by medical assistance in dying (MAiD).
For nearly 40 years Sig was a loving and devoted husband to Jeanette and a wonderful, kind, and generous step-dad to Tracey and Kim.
Sig is survived by his loving wife Jeanette, his step-children, Tracey and Kim, his siblings: Howie, John (Nur), Bill (Cathy), Hilda (Ray), Sylvia (Barry), Ed (Kathy), and Pete (Cindy), and his many nieces and nephews.
A private cremation took place on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Sig requested that there be no service.
