HUBERT: Stefania (nee Arendarczyk) - passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her sister and the nursing staff at Highland Lodge on Sunday, March 20, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Paul, who died September 17, 1974 and is survived by five sisters and one brother, Kasharina, Minika, Zosha, Emilia and Walter all of Poland and Olga Brekalo of Vancouver.
Stefania was born in Lazy, Poland on May 21, 1922. During the war she taken to Germany to work on a farm. She met her husband Paul there and they married soon after. Following the war, both she and Paul emigrated to Canada, arrivng in Alberta to begin a new life here. In 1961 they moved to the lower mainland where they worked at several jobs and ran a bean farm in Cloverdale. After Paul died, Steffa retired
