September 30, 1930 - October 14, 2018
Our loving father, husband, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on October 14, 2018. Terry is survived by his wife of 63 years Alma, daughter Wendy and husband Fraser, daughter Lori and husband Bill and their two daughters Averi and Cambria, Papa's beloved granddaughters.

Terry was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1930. He was prairie proud and joined the RCAF. He later attended The University of Saskatchewan in the Pharmaceutical faculty. With discipline and an education, he found his way to Calgary where he met the true love of his life Alma.

Together they took chances in life and were great adventure partners. They lived, worked and laughed all across Canada...making lifelong friends along the way. They were avid golfers, a game introduced to Alma by Terry on their honeymoon in Banff. Terry was a great story teller and one of his favourites was the golf pro returning Alma's green fees after observing her performance on the honeymoon round. They both improved a lot over the years.

Terry and Alma traveled the world together, often with some of their dear friends, having laughs and creating memories wherever they went. Sticking closer to home, there weren't many summer weekends when Terry wasn't loading one of his beloved cars with kids, dog, barbecue and sailboat for day trips to Grand Beach or in wintertime ski trips to wherever the local "mountain" was.

He will be missed.
