CHATTERTON: Thomas Philip (1923-2004). Phil (T.P.) passed away peacefully at Langley Memorial Hospital, 11:15 a.m., August 24, 2004 with his family present.

Dad was born in West Bromwich, England, October 9, 1923.

He is predeceased by his mother and father, wife (Lee) and son (Bill). ''T.P'' is lovingly remembered by his son Tom (Gloria); daughter Nancy (Jacques); grandchildren Sky, Etoile, Adam and Devon; sisters Dorothy (Ashley), Mary (Eric), Nancy (Stan), fiancee and companion Bernice Webster, his loyal yellow lab Nina and many extended family and friends.

Dad served with both Canadian and British forces. He finished his military career with the Victoria Rifles of Canada with the rank of Captain. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years, a dedicated Mason and Shriner and a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Langley.

Always a trusted and loyal friend, he was respected by all who knew him.

As per his wishes, no service will be held and cremation will be attended by family only. For those wishing to do so, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory would be appreciated.
