FOSTER, Thomas Woodhouse

(Dec 23, 1915 – Nov 13, 2010)

Predeceased in 1998 by Anita, his “beautiful bride” of 58 years, and in 2006 by his sister Eileen. Lovingly remembered by his children Tom (Lin), Jerry (Joan), Merridee (Grant) and Rob (Shannon), former daughter-in-law Marie, grandchildren Kimi, Kiyomi and Morgan, brother Frank and family, sister Margaret and family, and Eileen’s family. Dad is survived by his second wife Ann, who took wonderful care of him during his declining years.

Dad enjoyed a very long and active life. He was a member of the B.C. Police Force, overseas with the Navy, was an R.C.M.P. officer for 25 years and thereafter the Safety Supervisor at a construction company. Dad was a Mason for over 60 years and started the Dogwood Lodge in Langley where he became Grand Master. He put a lot of energy and enthusiasm into everything he did. A memorial service and reception will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 11th at Gizeh Shrine Centre, 3550 Wayburne Drive, Burnaby, B.C.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated.
