Vera was born in Vancouver on July 3, 1937. She left behind, her husband Bruce of 62 years, a daughter, Debbie, grandson Owen and son Darrell, granddaughter Taylor and grandson Travis.
She was a K-1 teacher for 35 years, the last 28 years at Topham School in Langley. She was a loving person and always happy. She suffered from dementia since 2008. She passed away at the age of 82 on November 14, 2019 peacefully at Chilliwack Hospital.
