Walter BUECKERT

January 21, 2006

BUECKERT, Walter Jack (Lou), January 4, 1854 - January 21, 2006. It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our big hearted teddy bear.

Walter was the loving and devoted husband to his wife Shirley of 28 years and the proud father of his 2 children Selina and Dexter.

Selina was the rose and the thorn of his life always keeping him on his toes. Dexter was his personal clean-up crew to oversee his many scheme's to completion.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He gained this love of the outdoors from his roots in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Walter never had less than too many projects at hand, from his many collectors cars to his custom woodworking, he always stayed busy. He was a proud member of the United Steelworkers (IWA), Local 1-3567.

He was predeceased by two brothers Don and Charlie. He will forever be in the hearts of his surviving family, his parents Mary and Jack Bueckert, his siter Marie Ann (Dave) Carmichael and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces in SK. He will be remembered for his strong will and twisted sense of humour.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 11am at the United Steelworkers Hall, #202 - 9292 200th St. Langley. Ich liebe dich Vater!!!
