Walter ELLIOTT

October 26, 2005

ELLIOTT, Walter. On October 26, 2005, Walter Elliott passed away in Langley Memorial Hospital from a heart attack. Walter was born May 5, 1916 in Warman, Saskatchewan. He was raised in Langham, but also lived in Elrose and Tisdale, Saskatchewan, before retiring to Langley, British Columbia in 1976. Walter was known for his energetic spirit, his sharp intelligence and his acute sense of humor. Over his lifetime, he was a dedicated civil servant, a loyal community and church supporter and an ardent saxophone player. There was rarely a day in Walter's later life that did not contain music. He also enjoyed the mountains and the ocean - trips to which he would take at any opportunity. Finally, times with family and friends were particularly special to Walter - these times gave him joy, laughter and love. Walter is survived by his son Lynn (Dorothy), his daughter Marlene and his brother Cliff. He was predeceased by his daughter Janice, his wife Lorane, his sisters Grace and Doris and his brother Lloyd. The interment is at Langley Lawn Cemetery. Thanks to family, friends and church members who have provided support in the past while.

WE MISS YOU DEARLY.
