MARCHEWKA, Walter of Langley, B.C., passed away after a short illness on Friday, December 9, 2005 aged 78 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary. Survived by his loving daughter Kasandra (Michael) O'Brien, brother Joe Marchewka and step brother Mike Anderson, cousins Lyle and Rudy Marchewka and Alec Kortko. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 7 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 14660 72nd Ave., Surrey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 15 at 10 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 501 4th Ave., New Westminster. Celebrant Fr Volodymyr Dmyterko. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Surrey.
