A life well-lived is a precious gift; Bill, or Uncle Bill, was such a legacy.
He passed away peacefully at the age of 82, on January 26, 2021; comforted by his wife of 60 years - Marjorie, and close friends Don and Darla deGouveia.
He was born March 12, 1938 to parents John and Marie Watkins - one of 14 children in a blended family.
The jobs he held and his service in the Canadian Army enhanced the skills he demonstrated to family and friends throughout his life. He was an amazing woodworker, an outstanding mechanic, and a remarkable "Mr. Fix-It."
His passion was golf, especially passing on his love of the game to youth, family and friends. Any chance to play a round, go to the driving range, or tee-off was taken!
