March 2, 1930 - June 29, 2018
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away Friday, June 29th, 2018 after a heroic fight against cancer.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary of 66 years, and their three children, Kathy (Rob) Corrins; Roger (Debbie) Twemlow; and Ron Twemlow. Also five grandchildren, Cory, Kerri, Willie, Jordan and Eric, and seven great grandchildren.  Bill was pre-deceased by his parents and two brothers, Ted and Rowland, and nephew Jeffery.

Bill was born in New Westminster, B.C. March 2, 1930 and was raised and spent all of his 88 years on the same farm property in the area of Langley originally known as Coghlan, BC. He was a trusted friend and neighbour, active in the community, and many newcomers to the area would consult with "Farmer Bill" if they wanted to know about the area. He also assisted these new neighbours in many ways and several have become lifelong friends. Bill was active in farming until age 86, originally having dairy cattle and later raising beef cattle.

He was also a licenced mechanic and with a partner operated their own garage and car sales business in Langley. Subsequently he spent time in the trucking business delivering shavings to farms in the area. He retired full time to the farm in the late 1980"s.

Bill was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing, and he and Mary enjoyed travelling, both by air and in their R.V. and they visited many areas of Camada, the U.S. and the world.

A Celebration of Life is to be held on Saturday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Aldergrove Legion Hall, 26607 Fraser Highway, Aldergrove, BC.

Donations to the B.C. Cancer Society would be appreciated.
