TUCKER, William Percival(Percy)

Passed away peacefully in the presence of the Lord in Langley on December 11, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Percy was born on March 31, 1924 in Manitou, Manitoba. He joined the RCAF and trained as a pilot. After release of service, he attended University of Manitoba and graduated as an organic chemist in 1947. He married Naomi in 1950 and brought his bride west into BC to settle and start a family. He raised two career-successful sons. Percy retired in 1984 as a sales representative for a Canadian pharmaceutical company and remained active in various capacities in his place of worship at Christian Life Assembly. Percy possessed many wonderful qualities that will always be remembered by those that knew and loved him. Percy was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, cousin, father, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Naomi, younger brother Earl (Glenna), sons Kendall (Heidi) and Spencer (Susan). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Percy's Life will take place at 2 pm on December 16, 2005 at Christian Life Assembly, 21277 56th Avenue, Langley. Memorial donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
