Lack of respect shown for the office of the mayor

There seems to be an inordinate amount of time, effort and thought directed toward the expulsion of the elected mayor to the detriment of our democratic process.

We are totally appalled at the lack of respect that both our papers have shown for public office by publishing the material supplied by the extremely immature people who are working against the dignity of the office of mayor. In most cases, councils and staff are able to work out their problems and those of the citizens who gave them their positions, without holding anyone to ransom and insulting the decisions of the voters.
