Editor: I read a recent article from Langley City council with fascination, because Mayor Ted Schaffer recused himself from both the Committee of the Whole discussion and the vote regarding the development permit.
He did so because the developer was among his campaign contributors. What an honourably quaint concept — integrity. Wow.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our Township council could find this kind of integrity?
