Editor: Re: Council debates future of Old Yale Road (The Times, July 24).
I howled with laughter when I read the article about how Council actually sat and debated to pave or not-to-pave Old Yale Road.
They yak back and forth about heritage, speeding and sticking up a slab of cement “in honour of heritage” while driving Langley-ites scream “Just pave it!”
We want a road that we can drive, that is safe, with a sidewalk for pedestrians. This isn’t hard, Township Council, but you seem to struggle endlessly with mindless issues.
