Dear Editor,
Vote “NO” to proportional representation.
I think that our first-past-the-post system works fine, so why change it?
The two systems in Europe have not worked well and a lot of people oppose it.
The proportional system that [Premier John] Horgan is proposing for B.C has not been proven.
It seems to me that it will produce bigger government and will cost the tax payer more money.
If Premier Horgan is willing to spend a million or more dollars for this referendum it stands to benefit him and the NDP.
I am voting “NO” to proportional representation.
