Dear Editor,
Parental consent is needed for tanning beds and tattoos, but not for abortion. There is currently no legislation regarding age of consent for obtaining an abortion in Canada. That women can have an abortion without their parents’ consent or knowledge is wrong. We really need a parental consent law to protect women and their babies.
