LETTER: Federal government interfering with postal worker rights

A letter writer voices support for postal workers who are not an essential service, she notes.

Editor: So the Liberals are calling back the postal workers.

They are on a legal strike. The government has had a year to settle this contract.

Postal workers are not essential workers like nurses, cops and fire departments.

It’s pretty bad when the biggest contract for the post office is the themselves [government].

Look at the business the post office would lose in parcel delivery.

The government has its own rules to the game. [Help] settle the contract or butt out.

I’ll support the postal workers. I have no problem going to the malls and shopping there. The world will not stop if the younger generation couldn’t go online for their Christmas goods.
