Dear Editor,
In no way was I disrespecting what the cadet organizations contribute to the youth of our country and what the cadets do for their communities [Fundraising events beat begging, April 10 Letters, Langley Advance]. As a former cadet myself, I can attest to that.
My only bone of contention is that resorting to begging to raise funds leaves the wrong impression.
Even with this opinion, I did drop a toonie in the can last time.
