Dear Editor,

As a second-year bell ringer I can say it’s a hoot, you gotta try it.

It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours and a great way to support the community.

The benefits include meeting your neighbours and their children while enjoying listening to peoples stories.

This year I’m volunteering close to home in Walnut Grove.

Come and see me, this month in front of Save-On-Foods and next month in front of the government liquor store.

Bring your spare change and a smile and you will go away feeling better.

Jeff Laurie, Walnut Grove
