Dear Editor,
I cannot express how disappointed I am of the new Langley City Logo. I don’t recall a public vote or input but I’m sure there was something but what an awful design. How it can be justified to represent our City is beyond me. The colours are the only familiar aspect as they come from the flag.
It looks to me like a children’s wooden block puzzle set put together and so industrial in appearance.
I really get upset when tax dollars are spent on these types of endeavours when the old logo was just fine. Please place me on a list of ‘not approved’. This has a haunting reminder of the Vancouver City fiasco when they attempted the same thing.
