LETTER: Law needed to set abortion limits

Pro-lifers and Pro-choicers have agreement on some aspects of abortion

Dear Editor,

Why can’t Pro-lifers and Pro-choicers get along?

Pro-lifers and Pro-choicers have things in common.

Pro-lifers are against all abortions, and most Pro-choicers are against 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions.

Pro-lifers and most Pro-choicers are against taxpayer funding of abortion.

There is no law in Canada against abortion; you can have one during all nine months of pregnancy for any reason or no reason at all. If most people are against 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions, why can’t we have a law and make it illegal?

Canada is the only western country in the world with no law on abortion. It’s time for a law.
