Dear Editor,
The only wars or conflicts that Canada should ever have participated in since 1812 were the First and Second World Wars and the Cold War. Absolutely everything else, including 1950s Korea and now was an absolute war of waste.
This is firmly evidenced now by our heads-lowered retreat from Afghanistan, where we participated with the Brits and Yanks in a complete loss.
When a military force is the invading one, it must know beforehand that it is going to win battles in the targeted country, and ultimately the war. This did not happen in Afghanistan, because Canada, along with the others involved stupidly, did not heed the easily read warnings of military failure there.
Young, inexperienced Steve, on our part, was/is responsible for this, and he too is a loser.
