Dear Editor,
Presentation to Township Council March 10:
Good Day to the Mayor and all the Township Councillors.
My wife and I witnessed all of your sincerity, as the delegation(s) to save Bell Park made their presentations, at the recent public Township council meeting held on Monday, March 10.
And a very special thank you to all the delegation(s) and their speakers. They all did a most fabulous job, representing our community.
Thank You for voting to keeping/preserving/saving and returning Bell Park’s greenbelt and residential neighbourhood park as it was.
Any future Improvements to maintaining and improving this park’s primary character will always be welcome, such as the new pathway walk currently being done. That is a good thing.
Thank you for hearing our community.
If the wildlife and birds could speak, I am sure they would thank you as well. Maybe their songs are their gratitude.
To me, all of Bell Park is truly a gem.
To preserve this nature space is the right thing to do. I don’t think we have enough of them, so let’s keep what we do have.
It already exists and does not require new tax money to obtain it.
It is already and continuously enjoyed by at least three current generations, and hopefully it will continue to bring more enjoyment to all the many future generations, in this community and surrounding communities.
If you are keeping score, this is definitely one to put in all of your win columns.
This has been a huge learning curve for everyone, including myself.
My wife and I, along with all our neighbours, live in a very lovely community. A very, very large weight has now been removed from our hearts.
Thank you.
