Dear Editor,
The big light bulb changeover is coming. Are you financially ready? Are you and your family educated about your new energy-saving light bulbs?
My husband and I live in a modest rancher. There are 46 light sockets to be filled, at eight dollars and up per bulb.
I guess what is frustrating is that there was no choice. Are the new bulbs safe? Are people going to recycle?
I don’t like knowing I have mercury in every room, in and outside my home. Do you know what to do if your energy-saving bulb breaks?
