Editor: I totally agree with writer Heather Botica when she says ‘it just seems like common sense to allow westbound trucks a direct route into the industrial area and on to the Golden Ears Bridge’
What could be more sensible and why limit it to just westbound trucks? Make a proper interchange for trucks from both directions. Why spend all that money on an uneeded interchange at 216 Street to move those trucks to Port Kells through a residential area with schools and only one lane?
It’s at least 12 kms farther and much more dangerous.Look out ALR, you’re next for Port Kells #2
