Dear Editor,
I would be more than happy to vote for some of the people running for election/re-election in the Township, but none of them have provided me with their platform. They all seem to think that they will be elected or re-elected… just because.
Yes, a meeting is good, but not everyone can get to one of them, and some of these people have no compunction about putting out signs or advertising themselves in the local papers – if you can do that, then include your platform.
I’m tired of not knowing what it is that each stands for and what they plan to do to support or not support for my community.
I’m tired of the lack of accountability and responsibility for the roles they play in our communities, and I want to know what it is that I am voting for, so I can make an educated decision and hold them to those standards in not only the current elections, but future elections.
