Dear Editor,
In Canada, the average birth rate is 1.6 children per woman. In order to maintain our birth rate, we need 2.1 children per woman.
We need more babies in Canada, or we will go extinct.
The only way we are dealing with it is having more immigration. We are letting into Canada a lot of immigrants.
Statistics in Canada estimate that, by 2015, seniors will outnumber children. And seniors are living longer.
Immigration might not be around for ever and that is why we need to have more babies.
