Letters: Langley business provides community group with meeting space

A Langley Toastmasters club wants the community to know about the generosity of a local business.

Dear Editor,

I wanted to share a secret that Preston Chevrolet has maintained for too long. For the past 18 months they have been graciously allowing our Toastmasters club to meet Wednesday evenings in their boardroom.

On behalf of our club, I would like to share our heartfelt thank you to the good folks at Preston for creating a space where people can assemble to address their stage fright and become better speakers. Your generosity had truly helped myself and other members gain the self-confidence needed to improve our communication skills and open doors in our lives.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with Preston into the new year and beyond.
