Letters: Zombies give Fort Langley tourism exposure

Dear Editor,

I was in the wonderful town of Fort Langley on a lovely fall day, Saturday, Oct. 4.

I was in this fine town for the second Annual Fort Langley Zombie Fest.

I attended the event last year with my friends and their children. We had a wonderful time at a well organized, family-friendly, and fun activity. I hadn’t been to Fort Langley for several years, and came to town for the sole purpose of attending the event.

I had had such a great time at their first event, I told all my friends how wonderful Fort Langley is. My exposure to Fort Langley through the Zombie

Walk put on by Fort Langley Studio also influenced my decision to spend more time in Fort Langley throughout the year.

Since my friends, their children, and I had such a wonderful time at the first Zombie Walk, we invited more of our friends and their families to attend the event this year.

We were with a large group of people varying in ages, developmental and physical abilities, and from several different cities to attend Fort Langley Studio’s Zombie Walk.

Not only were we charmed by the town and the people. We were also exposed to the local businesses, where were spent our money that day.

The organizers did a great job with this inclusive, family-friendly, entertaining event. I hope it will continue to be an annual event.
