Editor: Maybe the traffic geniuses who opted to close one of Langley’s busiest east-west roads, 56 Avenue, for six months could have had the forethought to realize what a nightmare this would create on the Langley Bypass and the Fraser Highway.
Even on a Saturday, traffic detouring eastbound was backed up into the north-south through lanes on the Bypass.
Maybe the advance left turn light needs to be lengthened to deal with the additional traffic.
Maybe these geniuses could call in the army to put in a Bailey bridge as well.
