Editor: A shout out of thanks to the organizers, volunteers, Al Anderson Memorial Pool staff, police, Langley City recreation department and council for successfully putting on another edition of the Langley Tri-It Triathlon on June 23.
This is a great event for families and individuals to get out and enjoy the sport of triathlon in a safe, small-scale and less intimidating environment. It is always great to see the enthusiasm of the kids (and their parents) as they navigate the course. Sponsors help out with draw prizes, but the biggest thanks has to go to the organizers and volunteers. Keep it up.
