RCMP try to ruin tribute to Harold Hamon

Editor: Re: Harold Hamon’s memorial on Sunday.

The parade for Harold had a large turnout. We toured through the town he spent most of his life towing vehicles in.

Most people on the road were very patient, understanding that it was Harold’s last tow. But the Langley RCMP put a bad taste in my mouth by trying to ruin it. They showed no respect for anyone, especially not the family.

They need to make a public apology to everyone involved. Ticketing tow truck operators for blocking intersections, stepping in front of one car while it was moving, and just the whole bad attitude that they had was utterly disgusting. It was an embarrassment to the RCMP in general.

Maybe they should think how they would feel if I drove my car into the middle of a funeral procession of an RCMP member.
