Richter's letter points out how developers always get their way

It is a total waste of time for anyone in the Township to bother taking part in the public hearings, as time after time nothing changes

Editor: I have just finished reading the letter written by Councillor Kim Richter (The Times, Oct. 14) regarding the over-development of the Willoughby area. Every member of council, starting with the mayor, should be disgusted with the way they have carried themselves these past few years.

Never once have they listened to what the residents of the Township have wanted or have had concerns with. On every occasion they have taken the side of developers, and have turned their backs on the many concerns that we, the citizens, have voiced.

It is a total waste of time for anyone in this city to bother taking part in the public hearings, as time after time nothing changes and the developers continue to get approval on any and all rezoning applications. Please remember this come election day, and thank you to Richter for at least listening to everyone's concerns.
