Trains were here first

There is no need for environmental impact studies on health effects from trains.

Editor: Steven Faraher-Amidon (The Times, July 22) is upset  more trains will be passing through Langley, and wants us to write to MLAs for an environmental impact study,

I  have one suggestion — move. Langley was built around the trains, so if you don’t like them, move to where there aren’t any. They were there before you and they’ll be there after you are gone.

We don’t need the government wasting any more tax dollars. We are already taxed to the limit, and a lot of programs are underfunded.
