Truth and facts confused with arrogance

Councillor Charlie Fox’s recent letter to the editor on the work of the finance committee, albeit lengthy, was at least factual and told the truth.

Editor: I am writing in response to the recent letter from Kevin Edwards (The Times, Sept. 15). It is unfortunate that Edwards confuses the truth and facts with arrogance.

Councillor Charlie Fox’s recent letter to the editor on the work of the finance committee, albeit lengthy, was at least factual and told the truth. Please don’t confuse honesty, integrity and the truth with the arrogance of misleading press releases or untruthful, nonsensical and biased letters of the mayor or his entourage of ill-informed letter writers. They truly reflect the definition of arrogance and feel comfortable with it.
