Winners and losers in Wall-Trinity Western deal

There will be short-term profits but long-term costs to urbanization around Trinity Western.

Editor: As a professor of economics, it is easy to deduce from all these legal machinations surrounding the Wall-TWU affair both the short-term winners and long-term losers in developing this land. In short, the negative impacts on the Salmon River environment and costs to taxpayers when the inevitable lawsuit is filed will subsidize the short-term profit maximizing for Wall, and the endowment of a private teaching institution strapped for funds. If only fish could vote.
