• The Credo Christian Kodiaks win the Single A boys' high school volleyball banner. Ben Togeretz wins the most valuable player award while Nathan Van Delden is a first team all-star. Nick Heeterbrij and Josh Van Delft are honourable mentions.
• The Langley Christian Lightning win bronze at the AA senior boys' volleyball championships. Tyler Heppell and Mitchell Jarvie earn first team all-star awards, while Joel Kleingeltink is a second team all-star and Mark Antoniuk wins the most outstanding libero award.
• Trinity Western Spartans' Fiona Benson and Blair Johnston are named the B.C. cross-country athletes of the year in the junior women's and men's categories, respectively.
• Langley Mustangs Track and Field Club's Georgia Ellenwood and Braedon Dolfo are honoured at the B.C. Athletics banquet. Ellenwood wins the youth female athlete of the year, while Dolfo wins the male disability athlete of the year.
• The National Lacrosse League returns to the Lower Mainland with 4,800 fans packing the Langley Events Centre to watch the Toronto Rock battle the Washington Stealth in an exhibition game.
• Courtney Shmyr captures the Canadian junior short track speed skating championship. Her top finish also earns Shmyr a spot on Canada's junior team for the 2012 junior world championships in February in Australia.
