Langley in 0-2 hole after dropping game two 10-5 against New Westminster

The Langley Thunder find themselves in an 0-2 hole after dropping game two of their best-of-seven playoff series.

The Thunder fell 10-5 to the visiting New Westminster Salmonbellies on Aug. 6 as the senior A Western Lacrosse Association series shifted to the Langley Events Centre.

New Westminster won game one 15-12 two nights earlier.

Richard Lachlan led the ’Bellies in game two with a hat trick while Patrick Miles (two goals, one assist) and Keegan Bal (one goal, three assists) had multi-point games. Jordan McBride chipped in with four assists.

Langley's Lewis Ratcliff and Pat Saunders had a pair of goals and one assist apiece while Jacob Ruest had a goal and two helpers.

Game three of the series is at New Westminster's Queens Arena on Aug. 8 with game four set for Aug. 10 at the LEC.
