Langley continues strong play with eight wins in past 10 games

After surrendering the game's first run in the top of the first inning, the Langley Blaze reeled off 11 straight runs in an 11-1 rout of the North Delta Blue Jays.

The two U18 B.C. Premier Baseball League rivals squared off on June 27 at McLeod Park.

The win improved Langley to a league-best 27-6.

Bobby St. Pierre drove in three runs while Tyler O'Neill's triple scored two runs.

Mason Cratty also had a pair of RBIs. Bill Germaine, Mitchell Robinson and Nick Rutckyj each drove in one run.

Tanner Shaer had an impressive day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored.

On the mound, Liam Stroud pitched a complete game with three strikeouts.
