The Chiefs tossed a no-hitter to win 1-0, but Langley bounced back with a 6-5 victory on Tuesday at McLeod Park against the North Shore Twins.

The Langley Blaze doubled up the White Rock Tritons 4-2 for their eighth win in their past nine games.

The U18 Blaze baseball team scored runs in the first three innings to defeat the host Tritons on Thursday night at South Surrey Athletic Park.

Dustin Houle and Tyler Barlow had a RBI and a run scored apiece. Jerod Bartnik, and Matt Cratty had the other two runs.

Houle leads the B.C. Premier Baseball League with 13 RBIs.

Tom Robson scattered six hits over six innings and allowed just one earned run to pick up the victory. He also struck out 11 batters and leads the league with 42 Ks.

The Blaze won despite stranding nine base runners.

Langley (12-3) is back in action on Saturday (May 14) when they host the Victoria Mariners (9-3) in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. at McLeod Park.
