Four runs in the sixth inning and another pair in the seventh helped the Langley Blaze pull away from the North Delta Blue Jays.

Up until that point, the teams were locked in a one-run game with Langley leading 5-4. But the extra six innings helped them win a third straight game, 11-4 over North Delta at Mackie Park on Tuesday night.

Langley was coming off three victories in four tries over the weekend.

The win improved the Blaze to 11-5 in the BC Premier Baseball League standings.

Matt Dalgleish earned the win, allowing four runs on five hits in five innings.

Dawson Hurford and Chris Kaufmann combined to pitch the final two innings, allowing no runs and just two base runners.

Dawson Gray had a home run and two RBIs while Michael Stovman went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.

Rhys Cratty also had an RBI double while Gus Wilson and Danny Berg each had RBIs.

Langley will look to make it four straight when they visit the Whalley Chiefs on May 16 at Whalley Athletic Park.
