Hayden Jaco of the Langley Blaze is off to Miami later this month where he will represent Canada at the Power Showcase.
The catcher/third baseman will showcase his skills from Dec. 28 to Jan. 2 at Marlins Park in Miami.
The event features a home run derby and a pair of games, with scouts from Major League Baseball in attendance.
Jaco will play for the international team as they go up against their American counterparts.
Jaco hit .347 and 15 RBIs in 27 games last year for Langley.
